While some change end up being somewhat benign, that is not the case here with Susie. Thanks to an experimental procedure mix together with her family's lunatic nature made for an explosive combination. When her emotions boil out, especially sensitive to the cycle of the moon, she undergoes an incredible metamorphosis. Any thought and reason quickly gives way to a powerful fury that seizes control while her body literally swells into a hulking amazon. One can only guess at the level of destruction that comes out whenever she goes on a rampage when in such a state. Best to clear out of the way.
