Episode 3 "Concerns and Commitments"
Part 2 of 2

It was a welcome relief when the school day finally ended for Margaret. But also a bit of dread seeing as now comes the supplementary lessons with Jeremy. The unease that lingered had been at the back of her mind the entire time. She did not even have a moment of peace away from it even during lunch. Luckily the unease never escalated to the point that Margaret had to change into Melissa again today. It was awkward resisting the impulse to change during class. The students at least were none the wiser when she was teaching of this internal struggle.

But now she was at least spared the eyes of the students for the rest of the day. The classroom was now empty outside some trash and other items littered by the students. This disappointed Margaret who frequently reminded them to not litter. While the janitor could clean things up later, she did not enjoy leaving the room in such disarray. She had supplementary lessons being done here now and leaving it a mess was unacceptable.

Picking up a trash bin, she started to clean up the room when the door opened and Jeremy entered. He paused for a moment at the sight of seeing Margaret leaning over and putting trash away. Margaret for her part simply returned a stare back at him. She had clearly not expected him to arrive so soon.

The situation felt a bit awkward between them, before Jeremy finally said, “Good afternoon Ms. Winston.”

“Good afternoon Jeremy,” Margaret returned before putting down the trash bin, “Sorry for not being ready for you. This place was such a mess that I thought it would be better to clean it up before we started our lesson.”

“If that is the case, then I can do it for you.” Jeremy offered to help.

“Nonsense, you are here to learn. I cannot have you waste time cleaning up.” Margaret shook her head.

Jeremy looked disappointed at being rejected making Margaret feel a bit bad for rebuking him. The unease stirred somewhat in response to Jeremy. But she could not in good conscious have him do this. Not wanting to linger on this matter, Margaret tried to change the subject.

“Not that I don’t appreciate it. But how was the rest of school?” Margaret quickly asked trying to deflect the matter.

That only produced a gloomy look from Jeremy, who slump his shoulders despondently. “Terrible, there is so much I don’t understand in these classes. No way will my grades be any good.”

“Well that is why we’re having these lessons. To help you understand and improve your grades.” Margaret tried to assure him.

Looking at her, Jeremy nodded before he followed her into taking a seat at the desks. Opening up his backpacks, Jeremy produced a handful of notes taken during classes. He handed them over to Margaret who looked them over. Sitting down opposite of him, she attempted to help Jeremy get a better grasp of the varied subject matters.

Unfortunately after only a few short minute, Jeremy groaned, “This is impossible, I am never going to understand it”

“Just be patience, you are just learning things slowly.” Margaret stated.

It was true that Jeremy had difficulties in learning, but his current attitude was unusual. He was a lot more despondent than usual during these lessons. Having shared a number of lessons with him, Margaret definitely could pick up there was something bothering him. It was not the material specifically she suspected that was the source of Jeremy’s distress.

“More like I am just stupid,” Jeremy whined before resting his head on the desk.

“I can assure you are not stupid, Mr. Hales.” Margaret snapped back angrily.

That response caught her by surprise. She had not intended to raise her voice on Jeremy or any student, much less getting upset about it too. The sudden outburst of emotions was unheard for her and left a bit baffled at the cause. It also made her a bit scared that she might have offended Jeremy, but he did not seem to make any reaction at all.

“Please be honest Ms. Winston.” Jeremy continued possibly not even hearing her earlier response, “Why does Melissa have any interest in an idiot like me?”

The question surprised Margaret before realizing now the source of Jeremy’s distress. He was feeling inadequate struggling with these lessons that he was afraid that Melissa would think poorly of him because of it. But she knew that neither Melissa nor Margaret would ever think badly of him because of this. Margaret flashed a gentle smile to him that went unnoticed.

“Melissa most certainly would not consider you an idiot.” Margaret told him.

Lifting his head back up, Jeremy asked, “Is that true?”

“It is,” She assured him before placing a hand on his shoulder, “We’re very close and neither of think of you as an idiot. Sure you are struggling, but that does not mean we would think any less of you.”

“Thanks,” Jeremy sat back up, “I guess I’ve just been scared about how Melissa thinks about me.”

Margaret was happier that Jeremy was able to recover. Though she did feel a bit worried about how much stock that Jeremy put into Melissa. Much as Margaret wanted to keep up a professional distance from her students, that line was being increasingly eroded thanks to Melissa with Jeremy. She wondered if her more emotional reactions were due to that.

“But here I am talking about Melissa in front of you again, sorry about that.” Jeremy apologized sheepishly.

“That is no problem. If there something you want to say then I am here to listen.” Margaret reassured.

Emboldened by her reassurance, Jeremy said, “Just I do not know how many times I can thank you for introducing us together. Never in my life would I imagine that such a wonderful person like her come into my life. Much less keep meeting each other again.”

“You are welcome. I am just pleased the two of you are getting along together.” Margaret smiled unable to resist feeling rather pleased hearing Jeremy’s words.

“Just the prom night alone was amazing not to mention the kiss. It is unbelievable to me that we been able to meet again after that.” Jeremy admitted.

“You’re special enough that Melissa decided to stay around longer for you.” Margaret reflected even if the true meanings were not apparent to Jeremy.

“I think she is really special too.” Jeremy sighed when he thought about Melissa.

“You must think very fondly of her.” Margaret noted Jeremy moonstruck expression.

Blushing a bit, Jeremy confessed, “I definitely think I am in love with her.”

It took all of Margaret’s willpower to avoid making any noticeable reaction to his confession. Externally she gave the same gentle, but tired expression to Jeremy. But inside her heart was racing and the stomach felt like it was in a knot. A cold sweat went down the side of her face while Margaret’s mind went on overdrive trying to process everything.

Emotionally she felt caught in a whirlpool of feelings about the confession. The confirmation that Jeremy was in love with Melissa filled her with apprehension. Melissa would definitely be overjoyed at Jeremy being able to express his love. But to Margaret this was worrying on how emotionally vulnerable this could make him. Especially if he should ever found out the truth about Melissa it could be devastating. Yet she was also deeply touched too by his affection for her. It left her confused and unable to properly respond back to Jeremy.

“That sounds stupid doesn’t it Ms. Winston?” Jeremy asked when he noticed her contemplative look.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Margaret countered, “There is nothing stupid about it.”

“Is this even okay for me to have such feelings for her?” He wondered.

Not that he vocalized his feelings. Jeremy was likely starting to feel incredibly self-conscious about it. If he did not trust Ms. Winston so much he probably would never had confessed the matter to her. Still Jeremy felt increasingly nervous about it all.

“There is nothing wrong with being in love with some you like.” Margaret assured him.

It was difficult, but she needed to stay strong for him even if the topic was making her heart start to pound loudly in her chest. The heartfelt feelings of concerns that were welling inside of her were not all purely platonic toward Jeremy. Those other romantic feelings did not sit well with Margaret.

“But I am afraid about what might happen if I told her. I don’t want to ruin things because some foolish infatuation.” Jeremy explained fearfully.

“I don’t think it is so foolish. And Melissa that I know would not be adverse to your affection.” Margaret answered truthfully.

While she was still uncertain about her own feeling, the feelings of Jeremy were quite genuine. This was something she definitely had to make him aware. She could not let these feelings simply be buried under his self doubts.

“Thanks, I worry about it. But talking to you makes me feel a bit better about it.” Jeremy looked relieved at the answer.

“You are welcome. Remember that I will always be here to support you.” Margaret promised him.

In her heart, she knew that Melissa agreed on that sentiment too.

“You’ve always been kind and going out of your way for me. Melissa is like that too now that I think about it.” Jeremy mused.

Margaret stiffened a bit and asked, “What do you mean?”

“Like I cannot even believe she showed up at school a few days ago and even walked with me together under an umbrella in the rain. That something I never imagined would happen.” Jeremy carried on.

“Guess it was quite fortunate she showed up that day.” Margaret said remembering that incident.

Despite what Margaret wanted to remain strictly professional in dealing with Jeremy. Hearing his enthusiasms and praises for Melissa just got Margaret caught up in the same fervor. Not that Jeremy realized how personally familiar she was with what he was describing. The fact it made him happy was something Margaret cold be proud about.

“It was quite unexpected given the rain and extremely fortunate she showed up at that time,” Jeremy agreed before he stopped and thought about it.

Noticing his pause, Margaret asked, “Is something bothering you?”

“Just like the prom night and afterward, all of my meetings with Melissa were rather unexpected.  Or at least it seemed that way Ms. Winston.” Jeremy wondered before he turned to Margaret.

“What are you saying?” She questioned feeling a bit nervous.

“Is there something you are not telling me about all of this?” Jeremy asked her.

Margaret felt a chill go down her spine at the question. She wasn’t sure what set Jeremy on this track, but she did not know what answer to give him. Being dishonest to him was something she did not ever want to be, but the situation was making that difficult. But to tell the truth now might undo all that she had done to try and help him out. At the moment all she can think about doing was to stall.

“I don’t understand what you mean?” Margaret admitted.

“All these meetings with Melissa just like at the prom. Were they because you’ve been setting them up?” Jeremy demanded to her.

The accusation floored Margaret. Her fear that Jeremy was stumbling upon the truth was mostly unfounded. Not that there wasn’t any truth to what he was accusing of her setting Melissa and Jeremy together. It just did even scratch the full truth of the matter. Still the situation felt a bit awkward for her try to explain it away to him. Just looking at his face demanding an answer, Margaret felt uncertain about how to respond.

Just then the door swung up again and a bunch of students suddenly came barging in to the classroom. The unexpected intrusion caught both Jeremy and Margaret both by surprise. They barely had time to turn in the direction before being confronted by the bunch. Looking at them the bunch were a motley mix of students from different grades and classes. Very little seems to connect them outside the extremely eager look in every one of their eyes.

Frankly the situation made both Jeremy and Margaret feel rather uncomfortable under their stare. Unsure of their intention, Margaret said, “I’m sorry, but is there something you need? I am in the middle of a lesson so I don’t think I can help you-“

“Ms. Winston, please let us meet up with Melissa too.” They all begged in union.

Margaret just blinked and felt her glasses slip down a bit at hearing their request. This was not something she had expected to happen. She could understand why they might be attracted to Melissa. But never did she think they would come to her about it. Perhaps this was partly the reason the other faculty was bringing up the issue of the effect Melissa’s frequent appearances could be having on the students.

“Excuse me, I don’t quite understand.” Margaret stammered uncertain how exactly to respond.

“Please I like to meet with Melissa too!”

“Yeah ever since the prom I wanted to get close to her.”

“She is your niece. Surely you can get us connected.”

“It is not fair that only Jeremy gets to enjoy her.”

“I wanted her to squeeze me in those arms.”

The flurry of comments only continued to mount up as the bunch of students continued to press closer around Margaret. For her part, she found herself a bit overwhelmed by their eagerness and struggled to think of a proper way to respond. The students however did not seem willing to give her the time to consider as they press forward even closer.

“Leave her alone,” Jeremy cried out.

Angry eyes quickly turned toward Jeremy who had up to that point been completely ignored by the bunch. Their hateful glare made him a bit scared, but when he saw how baffled Ms. Winston was the situation, he decided to step forward. Getting up from his seat Jeremy tried to put himself between Ms. Winston and the rest of the students. However being just one person against several proved rather ineffective.

Try as he might push through them to shield Ms. Winston, several students managed to grab him. Even as he tried to resist being held back, there were too many of them. All he managed to do was temporarily turn their attention from Margaret to him. Annoyed at his interference, several of them quickly seized him and started to push him away.

    “Stay out of this pipsqueak!”

“You had your fun time to share with the rest of us.”

“Don’t think you’re better than us because you were with Melissa first!”

Their voices filled with annoyance and resentment, the students vented their fury on Jeremy. Unwilling to abandon Margaret he tried to hold them off. After a fitful struggles Jeremy went sprawling back into several desks. He ended up crashing down on the floor rather painfully.

“Jeremy!” Margaret called out standing up from her seat.

He only managed a weak moan from where laid on the floor. Though there weren’t any visible injuries, it was obvious that he was hurt. The bunch of students hardly looked concerned about it. Instead most were just looking rather scornfully at Jeremy. The attitude of this gang was rather loathsome.

Looking at Jeremy and then to the students, Margaret felt a seething rage boiling up inside of her. She did not know where it came from, but she did not care. They hurt her student. They hurt Jeremy. Her hands balled into fists in anger at the thought of what they’ve done. Everything she has done was to try to help and they so callously hurt him in front of her like that.

    “That is enough!” Margaret roared.

The pressure of her rage was enough to cause the bunch of students to freeze. Looking at the teacher who looked like she was starting to shake with fury was surprising. Despite her thin appearance, fire in her eyes made Margaret far more intimidating that she might seem. Suddenly they all felt rather uncomfortable about the situation. Feeling their bravery fading, they initially started to back away toward the door. Soon that turned into a full scale sprint with the entire bunch quickly running out of the classroom leaving the enraged Margaret and injured Jeremy alone.

Seething in rage, Margaret had never felt so enraged. Despite her thin frame, the shoulders were heaving with each laborious breath that escaped the lips while she fumed angrily. Eyes reflected the fury burning within her. But a sudden groan from Jeremy snapped Margaret at of her rage. It still burned strongly in her chest, but concerns for Jeremy overrode any thoughts except to check on his condition.

Rushing over to the fallen student, Margaret asked, “Jeremy, are you alright? Did they hurt you anywhere?”

However when she tried to touch him, he recoiled from it. This surprised Margaret with him even turning his gaze away from looking at her. It was a fortunate occurrence else he would clearly see that his teacher’s eyes had turned from their normal brown into violet. A change even she was unaware was occurring else she might reconsidered her proximity to him.

“Jeremy please, is something wrong?” Margaret asked again her voice filled with alarm about him.

Jeremy only gritted his teeth in frustration before standing up suddenly. It looked like he was in pain but before Margaret could ask about it he ran out of the classroom too. Shocked at his abrupt departure, Margaret tried to follow but instead fell back down to her knees again. A wave of unease struck her from the curse transmitting Jeremy’s despair to her again. Still livid, Margaret wanted to chase after him but could only manage to avoid completely collapsing to the floor. The transformation was starting again and she was helpless to do anything else.

Kneeling on the floor, Margaret could not describe the uncomfortable jumble of feelings that were threatening to tear her apart.

There was anger unlike anything she had ever felt in the longest time. Her blood was boiling at the outrageous harm those students committed against Jeremy. The boy was only trying to protect her and got hurt in the process. But Margaret also knew that part of the anger was aimed directly at her. That she allowed Jeremy to get hurt because of being unable to handle them.

Another emotion tugging her was concern about Jeremy’s wellbeing. Surely he got hurt because of the fall. But looking at how he ran off there was likely some emotional damage too. After learning even more about him, Margaret did not want to contribute any more to his misery. She wanted to help him in any way possible to ease the suffering. No, she wanted not just to ease it. But to make him happier then he has ever been before.

Even if was not Margaret who could be the one to do it. Despite what others might desire or feel, the one who can help him was Melissa. There was no need for the teacher or Margaret now. Only love had any hope of redeeming him. To help him, Margaret would cast herself aside to let Melissa by here to do it.

Steeling her resolve, Margaret’s violet eyes blazed with energy as once again the magical power of the curse started to transform her. The heart pumped furiously while she felt the familiar sensation of the breasts starting to firm up once more. Their once sagging form becoming firmer lifting up and pressing up against the sport top underneath the shirt. Curvy contour showed on the front shirt while the growing tenderness made Margaret fully aware of the reason.

But she did not have time to revel or even lament this change. All of her misgivings meant nothing for the moment so keenly driven was she to help Jeremy. There was no resistance with the changes quickly spreading across the entire body. The weariness and aches washed away and replaced with a youthful vitality that made her feel refreshed and potent. From her bones, muscles, and skins every part felt differently than before. The ravage of time faded away while making way for further changes.

Firstly the skin lost the paleness reverting to fairer skin coloration with glow. The worn texture became soft and tender. This made the growing tightness of the clothing extremely uncomfortable with the fabric wrapping tightly against the body. Margaret was growing bigger filling in all the slack and looseness in the clothes till they were tightly attached all over. Even then more of her glistening fair skin was coming exposed with parts no long being able to remain covered.  But the tight fabric revealed the emerging contour of her shapely figure and bulging muscles that were forming.

Even as her appearance was dramatically changing and starting to tear free from the confines of the clothing. An equally dramatic transformation was taking place in the mind. Just as her body filled with youthful vitality and potency the mind was filling with confidence and passion. Though acutely still aware of the concerns about Jeremy, the thought on the subject was changing. Love was filling her heart that ached for the chance to express these feelings. Embolden by her love and confidence, she brushed off any other concerns while eagerly hoping for the change to finish and embrace Jeremy once more.

Color started to return to her graying locks. Shimmering reddish gold locks soon appeared and replaced the graying hair on top of the head. The once thin and fraying strands were transformed too into strong and vibrant one. Soon the strand used to hold the ponytail came loose with the wavy hair spilled out and down the back. All traces of age and graying were gone leaving a colorful mane of hair.

Her feet hurt a bit while breaking free from the confines of the shoes. It did not take long as the growing size of the feet tore through the footwear. Having already lost a couple before due to the change, Margaret made sure to purchase several simple and shoddy ones. Both to keep the cost of losing them down and made it simpler case to burst through them. Now completely free from the confines of the shoes the toes wiggled a bit feeling the open air all around.

Feeling stronger with each passing second, she started to rise back up. While she did so the distinct sound of tearing could be heard. As her legs rose up straight the lining along the side of the pants were tearing open to reveal the chiseled muscle legs beneath. The tears traveled upward to show the thick thighs and spreading hips before the pants came apart completely. Luckily the sport short worn underneath ensured nothing immodest was showing even as it clung tightly to her impressive bottom.

Upward her lower torso lay exposed with the added height making impossible to cover anything more than the upper top. The once soft stomach had grown hard before the muscles started to stick out. Now it revealed an impressive pack of abs. But their shape still paled before the impressive orbs that were pushing the shirt outward and upward. While the bottom of the shirt climbed over the breast, they were still covered by the sport top underneath. Yet between the spreading back and blossom breasts, the tears that were opening across the front of the shirt soon left it as little more than rags.

Finally standing up to her full stature she felt amazing. Lifting up her arms to see the sleeves still wrapped tightly around the upper portion of the arms. She flexed them letting the bulging biceps to tear apart the fabrics leaving them uncovered. Standing amidst the torn remains of Margaret clothes, Melissa felt nice but her mood was dampened by events previously.

The rage that Margaret remained with Melissa and it certainly was difficult for her not to want punishes those students for their reckless actions. But she pushed those angry feelings aside because the matter of Jeremy was more important. Through the curse she could still feel the misery within him and his wellbeing was her top priority. She just hoped that none of those students show themselves again before Melissa or she was not sure if she could restrain her fury.

Taking a moment to discreet clean up all the scraps and slipping into a pair of sandals that Margaret carried for Melissa. She was ready to head out to find Jeremy. Thankfully the curse helped her know in what direction Jeremy had gone. The area he went to was an empty portion of the campus so Melissa did not encountered anyone else on her way. It made her wonder perhaps how many times he had come to this place alone away from everyone else. Whether it was cause of loneliness or fear of people seeing him in that state the questions pop in her head. Each one just made her heart ache a bit more.

It did not seem fair for such a gentle boy to suffer like this.

When she finally found Jeremy, he was leaning against a wall. His head and hands pressed up to the wall like he was trying to push it away. There were sobbing mixed between his haggard breathes. Even as she approached he did not seem to notice her.

Seeming him like this hurt her greatly. Though she immediately wanted to embrace him right then and there. Melissa resisted the urge and instead simply stopped a few steps away from him.

“Are you alright Jeremy?” Melissa said to make her presence known.

Jeremy immediately snapped out of his depression at the sound of her voice. He backed away from the wall before turning to face Melissa. A look of surprise crossed his face upon seeing her before it shifted into a more remorseful expression. Unable to look her in the eyes, he turned his gaze down toward the ground.

“Melissa, I did not want you to see me like this.” He stammered too ashamed to meet her gaze.

“It is okay, I’m here for you.” Melissa offered taking a step forward.

To her surprise, Jeremy immediately took a step back.

“What is wrong?” Melissa asked with a bit more concern.

“What are you doing here? Why did you have to see me like this?” Jeremy demanded his voice tinged with a big of anger.

Melissa was taking a bit aback at his anger. It was certainly not the reaction she expected. The other times Jeremy was above joy at seeing her again. But this time it seemed he was feeling some kind of resentment. It hurt her to receive this from him, but she did not let that stop her from wanting to help him. She wanted to understand the reason behind this anger.

“Margaret would be returning late because of your supplementary lessons. So I decided to come over just to see you again.” Melissa explained.

It wasn’t entirely the truth. She could not tell him, that Margaret had changed into Melissa. But she hoped her sincerity in concern for him would still be conveyed.

“So then you must have met Margaret…” Jeremy remarked turning away from her.

“She informed me about what happened,” Melissa nodded, “I am sure she will do something about those students to ensure this doesn’t happen again. But we are both worried about you after you ran off.”

“I’m pathetic.” Jeremy sulked with heavy shoulders. “Even when Ms. Winston was in trouble all I could do was make her worry more. What is wrong with me?”

“Listen Jeremy, you shouldn’t tear yourself about it.” Melissa consoled but he only backed away again.

“It is bad enough to do this in front her. But to show you too, I just cannot stand it.” Jeremy sobbed clutching his head. “I don’t even know why you put up with someone so pitiful like me?”

“Because you are not that pitiful to me,” Melissa responded firmly.

Jeremy looked up at her disbelieving, but when their eyes met. He could not find a trace of dishonesty in those eyes. Her eyes burned with such conviction and affection gazing at him that it only made him uncomfortable. It was crazy at how such an amazing woman could gaze at him so fondly. But even then he could not rid himself of the doubts lingering in the back of his mind.

“At first I was happy. Every time we meet was like a dream, but now I don’t understand it. But then we keep meeting and it just all seemed too good to be true.” Jeremy complained angrily.

“What are you trying to say?” Melissa inquired.

“A wonderful person like you could be doing so much more than spending time with me. Yet when I felt like I need you it seems you would almost always show up. How is that even possible?” Jeremy explained.

There was truth in what he was saying, Melissa noted. Her appearances were not organic, but tied to Jeremy’s own needs. Therefore Melissa would only appear when needed. Even Jeremy could realize at how it seems hardly fortuitous that she appeared like that before him. Perhaps he pushed the doubt to his back of the mind, but now it was coming forward.

“It is true,” Melissa nodded while she choosing her words carefully, “That my timing seems rather convenient. But that is only because I’ve been looking out for you.”

“Why would you do that?” Jeremy wondered still not grasping what was going on.

“I said before that I like you. And I wanted to make sure you were happy. Since the prom, I’ve been keeping tabs on you so that I can help you when you need it.” Melissa answered.

That was not the entire truth, but it did emphasis her true feelings. Melissa hoped that this would help ease Jeremy’s doubts about it. Seeing him this state hurt her and she wanted to help desperately to resolve this confusion in his heart.

But Jeremy seemed to only recoil at her public declaration of affection. His face just grimace in frustration while he tried to grapple with the explanation.

“But I don’t get it. Why do you care so much about me?” He demanded.

Asking the question seemed cruel and insensitive. But Jeremy could not help himself. He needed to understand what was going on in between them. At first he was simply happy to share time with her, but after being violent shaken about how others were envious and wanted her too. Jeremy felt insecure and afraid that Melissa could leave him. Think about it all, he could not understand what kept drawing the two of them together.

Melissa had to hold her tongue. She almost wanted to blurt out that as his teacher she had watched him struggle so much. That the kindness he showed those rare times were truly magical. She has seen the sadness in his eyes and past, it makes her heart weep. All of this moved her and Melissa knew truly that she loved him even if he could not possibly see it. That is why. She wondered what more she could do to make him understand how she truly felt for him.

But then Melissa remembered the conversation between Margaret and Mr. Zeddemore back in the staffroom. The question about whether Melissa was in a relationship with Jeremy.  Her heart beat loudly at the thought of it, but she decided on that course of action. She suspected that Margaret would flinch at the notion, but Melissa remained convinced this was necessary to help Jeremy. Looking back at Jeremy, her violet eyes flashed with determination.

“Because I love you,” Melissa repeated.

Before Jeremy could make any retort, she quickly closed the distance between them. He barely had a moment to look confused before she leaned down and kissed him. Her hands gripped his shoulder while she pulled him in deep. The sudden gesture surprised Jeremy and he struggle a bit, before he found himself losing to the blissful feeling being given. His anxiety and worries faded away. Soon he was returning back to her as the two shared the moment together.

Finally after what seemed like ages, they parted but Melissa did not let Jeremy back away. Instead she wrapped her arms around and hugged him tightly. His face was practically resting upon the impressive bosoms though he did not resist. Instead he simply allowed himself to sink into her just feeling the warmth and strength of her holding him.

“Are you feeling better?” Melissa asked him.

“Yes,” Jeremy admitted not sure what else to say.

“Good, there is something more I want to tell you. So don’t say anything until you hear me out.” She said looking down into his eyes.

Jeremy looked up at her and nodded.

“I love you since we’ve met at the Prom. Every moment we shared just makes me happy. So please I would like us to spend more time together. But this time as a couple.” Melissa continued despite it her earlier confidence. She came off a bit nervous and bashful saying this to him.

Jeremy only blinked in surprise at what he just heard. Then as it slowly started to register, his face immediately went wide in surprise. Almost disbelieving he even started to struggle to pull out of her hug, but Melissa did not let him go. After some feeble struggling Jeremy relented trying to break free with her being simply too strong.

    “Please Jeremy,” she begged him.

“Is this a dream? Do you really mean that?” Jeremy stammered back.

Nodding her head, Melissa smiled, “I truly want to be together with you.”

Seeing her smile just melted his heart as Jeremy bashfully replied, “Then I guess I am in your care.”

“Silly,” Melissa teased after letting him go, “that is what the girls should say.”

Before Jeremy could reply, his mouth was again covered by her lips. This time he did not hesitate to return it back. The two of them did not share anymore words simply letting their feelings speaks volumes. After while their lips parted and they stared at one another.

“So this makes it official,” Melissa beamed back.

“Sure this won’t be a problem?” Jeremy wondered sheepishly with a scratch of his head.

“Don’t be getting cold feet now,” Melissa mocked with a playful poke at his cheek, “Besides a certain canary told me you will be an adult soon. So we can just take it slow.”

“Guess that is true,” Jeremy admitted.

Melissa chuckled a bit at his easy acceptance. Now that they were together, Melissa found herself excited at what she could share with Jeremy now. It was like a weight had been removed between them. The kisses earlier allowed her to gauge how much happier this had made him and that only accented Melissa own delight too. But thinking about it, she knew exactly what to do next.

“So make sure you’re free this Saturday.” Melissa told him.

“What is happening this Saturday?” He asked obviously confused by the sudden statement.

“That is when we’re going to have our first official date as boyfriend and girlfriend. It is time for me to show you hit the jackpot.” Melissa explained with a proud grin.

Jeremy just blinked before his mouth opened agape at the statement. The reaction was just so adorable that Melissa had to resist snuggling his head at the sight. She was definitely looking forward to their first date. Even if she had absolutely no idea what they were doing this whole proposal being a spurn of the moment. But surely Margaret could help figure it all out in the next few days. Jeremy and Melissa were about to embark on a bold new direction and she felt excited for it.
