It is the end of October and that means Halloween has come. In order to properly celebrate this holiday I've prepared three tales taking my characters to assorted Haunted Vista. Including preview pictures courtesy of :iconqvi: I hope you enjoy this Halloween treat. For those wishing to see bigger versions of the preview images you can find them here. [link]

In other news, I'm still in reflection on the passing of geocities. It was once a pretty noticeable community of home sites back in the 90's. Seeing it pass on is like watching an old chapter of your life move onward. Speaking of which, there were plenty of old chapters of some of my really early writing up there too. Boy, I wrote some crazy stuff. Then again, some might say I still write crazy stuff now. :la:

Oh well, that's a bit all I got at the moment. Daylight saving is finally hitting this side tomorrow. That's going to make my sleep a bit screwy tonight.

Autumn Comes

Summer has passed and Autumn has arrived. Too bad around here, it was the time for a heat wave to decide to sweep down upon the area. At the very least, it hasn't set off any wildfires around here. Not yet at least. ^^;

September is coming to a close which means October is not that far behind. Already can look into the supermarkets and other places to see what that means. Then again, they were barely shoving out the Back to School stuff while all the Halloween stuff was being brought inside. That's just how the stores seem to react to the holidays it seems nowadays.

Still Halloween is a fun time. A great thematic period for all sorts of fun and frightful pieces. Unfortunately, that also means we get to have bunch of trailers for some of those excessive horror flicks coming out too. Too bad you can't get away from those even on the internet. :shrug:

Hopefully get some more stuff with Hollow Hunters for the times too. Seems like the time of ghosts, ghouls, and goblins to take a whacking. Then again any of the Hydes would enjoy that time too. Certainly Hellangel wouldn't be looking out of place either. And any excuse for those Childrens from the Kingdoms to cause ruckus would be good for them. :noes:

Yeah, this is really the times for all of them. ^^;

:iconmolinaro: This time we get two pieces brought out for your viewing enjoyment. One we see where temptation and transformation has led Elaine to Helen Hyde becoming free. [link]

Also we get to see the awakening of Thirsha from her reincarnation Avery in an electrifying display. [link]

Post-Labor Day

That was one long labor day weekend. Though I'm aware this weekend wasn't so pleasant for those who been out of work for the while. Still with the conclusion of the weekends lots of people today were heading back to school and work. Adios summer more or less. :salute: Autumn will be officially ring in come September 22nd.

Stories are progressing slow. Blame some parts the weather, other parts work, and some final parts for demanding other activities. But that is hardly what folks want to hear. Still with the passing full moon, I manage to present a tale about my particular girl who got more concern about that lunar event then the rest of us. Hope you've enjoyed it.

In related news, it seems just recently a new anecdote has recently been released from the Malkin Grey University. A young student by the names of Daniel Wells is the subject of this tale. One steep in meddling with the occults. Written and presented by :iconmercury-pentacle: takes us back to the school and the strange incidents surrounding their students.

Starting prior to the events of the more notorious tales of Elaine Melbourne, that doesn't mean some other familar faces won't be seen. You just have to read it to find out. ;)

For those of you who remember last year, on this day we held a celebration commemorating the many art pieces done for Elaine. Another year has passed and we take a gander at how many new pieces from both returning and new artists have been added to the list. [link]

In further celebration to it, we bring both a Behind the Writing Desk installment featuring the frightful Helen Hyde, but also a short story for ElaineXHyde too. Plus two pieces added to the gallery itself featuring a "classic" Helen image and another one courtesy of :iconqvi: who has graciously provided it.

So hope you enjoy this little celebration to Elaine and her other self, Helen. To all the arts and stories that go on with it.

Addendum - :iconqvi: is available to for commission she does some great stuff, you should really check her out. :la:
